Well another season of the local NPL games has come to an end. As some of you know, usually I only play on Thursday nights. This season just gone, I did pretty well......just had a bad finish to the season. Missed making the points in that last Thursday night game of the season. I was in No 1 position ( somewhere I had not finished in the previous 5 seasons played....I had finished 2nd twice though) and thought that with about 29 points lead on 2nd I was fairly safe. I was wrong 
Got K.O.'d justbefore theo points when my tope 2 pair (Q & T) got sucked out on by trip 3's on the river when my all in was called on the turn by a donk playing 2 3 o on a board of Q T 3 5 rainbow!!!!! Anyway, they player sitting in second on the leaderboard did well enough to knock me out of top spot, but I really shouldn't complain. Top 5 all qualify for the $25,000 State Final in Adelaide on November 23rd, and I finished in 2nd with daylight in third. ALso, every winner from the last 5 weeks of the season qualified for a freeroll on the 22nd o November for the Aussie Millions Main Event. A mate of mine had 2 wins in that time and is considering transfering one of those seats to me. I know that I'm already going, but what the hell. If I was able to win another seat that's cash in my pocket as I could sell it or have the casino buy it back for face value! Anyway....here's how the season finished.......
