I would never have known about the double or nothing tourneys on PokerStars without the blog by Top Cat. With his strategy tips on how to play them i have cashed in 25 out of 30 games. I play the $5.20 Turbo games. With the simple strategy of patience ( a lot ) and playing only the top 5 or 6 hands it is seldom a race to get ITM. i have only been in 5th or 6th pos at the end of the game a few times. Playing these games with that style of play has renewed my dicipline by a factor of 10, and as a result i have secured a spot in that TOC game for next month by winning Mr. Meanys' Horse tourney the other night.Last night i finished 2nd in the razz. I'm gonna be playing in the tourney for the different color birdies and i'm going to donate to the prize pool with some of these winnings. Oh by the way, i had not won over 50% of the games i played (mostly HU) for the previous 3 or 4 days! You all know how winning puts a positive spin on poker! Thank you TC for the blog! Now.....all you Birdies get out there and tear up the felts!

I agree completley! I was playing in larger tournaments with bigger payouts, but I always seemed to get busted out just before the money or right after the money where it doesnt pay to much. I had 4 dollars left and decided to play a 3 dollar 6 max tourney. I won that one. Since then I have played in 6 tourneys a day for about 2 weeks. I have only not made the money 3 times. And usually I take first just be playing tight and conservative. My bankroll went from 4 dollars to 123 in that time.
