Best cash so far..

Oct 10, 2008 9:48 am Report Abuse

I know it's not alot, but it's my first cash over $5. I played in a $3+$0.40 NL sit and go that ended five minutes ago. I took second and won $21.60. I had a $10,000 chip lead with five people left, then the guy who won went on a knock out spree and knocked out the remaining players. So it's heads up and he has a 3 to 1 chip lead. Couple back and forth raise and takes. Then he raises my big blind. I push with A 7 suited. He makes the call. Turns over Q 4 offsuit. I was stunned and of course you know what happens next. He flops a set of fours then turns a queen for a full house. Makes no sense for him to do that. He loses the hand we're almost even money, him with a slight chip lead. Oh well, still happy to take down second.

Good job on the cash. Some people just play to get lucky and end the tournament not thinking about the consequences if they lose the hand. I guess he thought "no guts no glory."
