Railbirds Launch Party, Orange Team Challenge

There has recently some discussions as to the birthday of Railbirds.com, in public, and in private, and the matter still isn't settled !

We do know that the first person to register as a Railbird, did so on Feb. 20, 2004. We also know that the first blog was posted was on May 8th, 2006, and on this blog Railjoe made a comment that states the site was launched around September of the same year.

After posting a thread in the moderators forum, it has been discussed by the Prorails, and Admin of the site, and the decision concluded that at this time, there is no difinitive answer as to when Railbirds.com's birthday really is. What we have agreed on though, is that there should be an UNOFFICIAL Launch Party, to celebrate the passing of nearly 2 years since Railbirds was launched into cyberspace !

We, The Gold Team, will be putting on a Freeroll Tournament for all Railbirds that want to participate, out of our own pockets. We will also be posting bounties on ourselves, and challenge everyone to try to collect those bounties, and win some of OUR CASH ! Again, this is not being sponsered by Railbirds.com, but by The Gold Team, made famous by taking on some of the best players Railbirds has to offer, in a challenge by PapaPower a couple of months ago, which we dominated...lol...He refered to us as orange, but we prefer to be known as Gold !

I will be the one setting this tournament up, and if anyone wants to make a donation to the prize pool, send me a PM, and we will discuss how to handle it. Anyone wishing to post a bounty must go through astrogini, I will not be doing them. It is my intention to have the game ready to submit to Full Tilt by next Monday, and to schedule the game for 16:00 F.T. server time, on Sunday Oct. 19th.
