Wanna Play, Heads Up ?

I am happy to announce that my good friend 100_dolla_billz and I, have teamed up to offer our Railbird friends: Billz and Topcats Heads-Up Championship Series, featuring 8 satellite games of heads up play, leading to a BIG Series Championship Game ! After several lengthy disscussion, we decided that we both wanted to see more opportunity for Railbirds to sharpen their skills at heads up play, and came up with this idea how to accomplish it !

We have open for registeration right now on Full Tilt Poker a series of 8 satellite games to be played on Tuesday and Saturdays for the next 4 weeks. At the end of the series, we will have a Series Championship Game, and it will be a chance for someone to make some BIG MONEY !

There was some trouble getting this all set up at Full Tilt, so we apologize for the short notice, but the first game is TONIGHT at 20:00 server time. We wanted all of these games to be shoot out style, but F.T. didn't have that option for satellite games, but the Championship game WILL BE a shoot out format ! The buy in for these games will be $2.50+.50, and for each $11 in the prize pool, a player will be entered into the final championship game that has a buy in of $10+$1. Any remaining money will go to the next player in line. The final Championship game will be open registration, just in case people who don't win their way in, want to get in on the BIG Money Game !

This can be a very big championship prize pool to play for with a small investment, and we hope that a lot of Railbirds will come and join us in this series ! Here is the Tournament schedule :

If you would like to play, then contact either billz, or myself for the password. We ask that ONLY ACTIVE Railbirds enter this series, and that nobody shares the password with anybody ! These are being played for the good of the Railbird community, not the public !

These games are limited to 64 players each, so get your name registered as soon as possiable, or you might be left out !

To sweeten the pot, I will put a $5.00 bounty on billz AND my head for tonights game, just to get things started off right, be sure to have a hand history for astrogini, if you knock either of us out !

Addendum: Call it foolish, or confident, either way, I am going to post here a link to the basic way I play heads up. I wrote this strategy blog a couple of months ago, and have had good response from it from Railbirds who applied it to their game !
