It seems to me that I win 90% of the live games that I play...Online is a diffrent story. I always seem to make it to the 2 break in a big tournement...Never seem to cash. I am a very conservitive player. Do I need to be more agressive

I suggest reading Scotty Fischmans book "On-line Ace" It is geared just to the on-line game and it was very helpful to me and my on-line game.

I am not all that good but here is my two cents worth.

I am not sure what you mean by "conservitive".

I try tio play tight / aggressive in the first third of a on-line tourny...........AA, KK, QQ, AKs.........bet them about 3-5XBB, and if you are raised then re-raise about 3-4X the raise. Small to Mid pocket pairs I will limp in looking for a set, and sometimes with A / rag suited I will limp in mid or late position trying to get a nut flush draw. Otherwise I will fold..........I aim to play about 20% of the delt hands.

Don't know if this helps much............but there it is. Once you are in-the-money you will have to loosen up some as you get deeper into the money or you will blind out.

Take care and good luck.

you do need to open up your starting hand range in the first few levels of a tourney.....as was stated AA KK QQ and AK you are obv gonna play so that is not much help....asl set mining is never good...IMO you should never raise a hand preflop either raise it or fold it, and dont be afraid to toss in a little raise with 10-j, 9-10 suited and play alot of post flop poker
