Easiest Five Dollars Ever Made

Oct 5, 2008 3:17 am Report Abuse

The easiest five dollars ever made- and no, I do not know how to play pot-limit-omaha.

I just signed up at pokerstars, verified at least 3 times on the page i was 18 (lol), and checked out their list of freerolls. Turns out there was a Summer Games PLO freeroll starting in a few minutes and i find just under 750 players registered, with the top 250 receving $5. Awesome!

A few played hands and 45 minutes later I've got 5 bucks. And I've never even played pot limit omaha before. This might just work out quite nicely.

Thanks Pokerstars!

thanks for the reminder! i played in one of those tourneys a few weeks ago and had forgotten to go back for another five!

i agree, it's about the easiest tourney money i've ever won

highly recommended to anyone trying to build a bankroll

but be aware, you only get one shot per poker type (NL, PLO, etc), so make it count!

The amount of free money given away on PS is insane. If you have a rudimentary knowledge of any poker discipline and the patience to apply it wisely you can get a beginning BR. If you want to build that BR try out the double or nothing SNGs that TC clued us all into yesterday. Easy money.

where are these tourneys?
RaDaCol Oct 5, 2008 3:49 am
look under touraments/regional. And yes they are pretty easy to cash in. The ones I have played in had less than 800 people and they pay top 250. Good luck

yeah and if you wait until the last few games there is only 450 or so in the tourneys. i cashed in todays omaha hi.lo too
