So here we are at the entrance of the Casino. Ready to go and play the best poker I can.



A bit early but most people are arriving



Shuffle up and deal!

First few rounds checking out the competition. The two people right from me tight aggressive. They played out of position but they played very hard blowing most people out of the pots. Trips and two pairs was the minimum they flipped over. The third one right of me was a blind stealer. Only played in late position and folded to re-raises. 4th right a "nit" super tight. The two people left from me were neutral (played quite a few hands but not very aggressive) The third left from me a Maniac. Played any hand, really anything the worst he flipped over was K5 off, the best AJ off. Then there was one young guy, neutral aggressive and one neutral passive.

The first hour of play the maniac ruled the table and tangled with the neutral guys. Withing two hours the neutral aggressive guy hits the rail as his AK gets sucked out when the maniac completed his gutshot on an K6748 board.

I raised a few times in the third hour but never connected to anything. With a maniac re-raising my c-bets I started to leak ships so I tightened up a bit and also was quite card dead.



In the 4th hour managed to steal the blinds two times but was getting shorter and shorter. On top of that I was not picking up any hands.

Then I picked up AK which I miss played. Yes I folded the best hand. For some reason I just could not push my chips in and I am still upset I did not go all in.

At the start of the 6th hour and after 3 more people had hit the rail at my table, I started to pick up hands again. AK clubs, a push got me the blinds so I was back to 7 Big Blinds 5 hands later I pick up jacks and it gets folded to me. I push and the maniac called me with AJ off. An A on the flop and I hit the rail too.

Wow, thats it, suddenly your out. But I wasn't really upset. Here are some of the people I met:




So the final verdict. THE TIME OF MY LIFE. Really amazing to play among these people! Well worth the hours of play trying to qualify. And I will try again since I learned so much in these 6,5 hours at the table.

So that's it. I play 8 months of poker and got were I am now so it can only get better! For all the people out there I started with freerolls at Christmas so don't give up. Join a clan, read the blogs, learn and practice, it will pay off!
