This is an email a friend of mine sent me. I saw a blog not too long ago saying why a member here loved paying taxes. I guess this is my response. I hate paying taxes and I am tired of bailing out the rich! Many Americans this week saw our hard earned tax money go to some millionaires who will probably make a profit off of that money in the long run. A half of a trillion dollars of our money!! The American people were basically against this, but our government passes it through anyhow. What's wrong with this picture? Our elected politicians doing the opposite of what the general population wants. Do we have a say anymore? Or do they just look at the people of this great country as nothing more than a blank check?
Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated.......even if you have the WRONG opinion. LOL

The next time you hear a politician use the
word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the 'politicians' spending
YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it's releases.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

A billion hours ago our ancestors were
living in the Stone Age.

A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.

A billion dollars ago was only

at the rate our government
is spending it.

to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number...
what does it mean?
