Hiya Guys,
Just after reading the Blog about making there first win it got me thinking, what do i do in tournaments to try and succeed, and one thing i try and do is brake the tournament down in stages, for instance if going to be long tournament and tight i aim to make the first break with reasonable sized stack, and after that i try and make the top half of the field, and as i meet each target i set another target! Just wondering if anyone does the same or what they think of the idea? Suggestions be nice
Thanks Stu

When I get deep, I have done so by keeping an eye on where the bubble is for the points. Once the points are reached I keep an eye on where the bottom players are for the money. Don't rush to stay above those locations. Just because at an early point in a tournament the bubble is holding 10 K in chips doesn't mean you have to get 10 K in chips. The chip count for that bubble gets smaller as you get closer to it. The bubble will burst when somebody is ready to blind out.
Once reaching the money many people will feel they have reached their goal and start playing careless like many do at the beginning of the tournament. They have made the money and they could care less if they go any further.
Good luck.
