Oct 2, 2008 5:01 pm Report Abuse

Hi there friends,

I'm in the pokerstars VIP Store at the moment and there are several books that I can order from my FPP's.

Just like to know if some of u can recommend a "must read" and why.

Txs in advance

I dont know if you can get it there but Barry Greenstein's Ace on the river is solid or Super System by Doyle Brunson is a staple of poker

Good luck

I don't know what titles are available there, but I would look for a book that focuses on the type game and format you like to play, i.e, NLHE, Omaha, Stud, etc. Finding a book that focuses on the format you like to play is very important because different formats require different strategies. So if you like to play sit and gos then find a book that focuses on SNG's. A good book for SNG strategy is "Sit and Go Strategy" by Colin Mishman (sorry I may have misspelled his name because I do not have it in front of me). If you like MTT's then there are a number of books you can get, but one I read recently that takes a different approach from the standard poker book, is "Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time". I don't know the titles of any that focus solely on cash games right off hand, but I am sure someone else can repsond to this blog and give you some suggestions.

good luck.
