sad but true

Sep 29, 2008 5:26 am Report Abuse

If you take into account the fact that people continue to eat veal, is there any surprise that pigs would be another animal abused? I agree it is sad what we do to the animals on our planet. Well on another note I'm back from my anniversary vacation with my wife and for those interested, Yes it was great!!!. See you all on the felt soon.

I've had veal ONCE, and it wasn't anything special,... so I dont know why it is even on the market. I'll take a good ol' T-bone any day, and I know the cow it came from wasn't tortured or treated poorly, we get ALL our meat from a farmer, who is a very good friend of ours.

I think if people stopped eating PROCESSED meat, and bought all their meat from a local farmer, AFTER seeing the conditions of his farm and animals,... the cruel treatment of our "meat" animals would reduce enormously. It is cheaper to buy 1/4's and 1/2's or even whole animals than it is to buy your years supply at a grocers.

And... processed meat is disgusting.

~~peace~~
