Real money tourneys

Sep 28, 2008 4:19 pm Report Abuse

I've played 4-5 railbirds freerolls on pokerstars and tried to start building a bankroll. I'm wondering how much I should buld up from freerolls before I move on to micro toruneys (10, 25, 50 cents) that offer some more money? thanks.

The best thing for you should be to play a tourney with a buy-in that is not more than 5% of your bankroll for a single table S&G, or not more than 3% of your bankroll for a multi-tables. So basically if you want to only play some 0.50cents tourney you need at least between $15 to $20 for bankroll. Period. After that depending if you're winning or losing, you can adjust your buy-in of course always base on the size of your bankroll.

Good luck to you
