I wasn't involved in the hand, so I didn't think to get a screen shot of it and can't find it in my hand history right now ....but anyway
Mid stage of a low buy in tourny...chips stacks at the table ranged from about 3k to 10k
One hand...this guy pushes all in with about 6k in chips...gets 3 callers, including the large and small stacks...
They turn over QQ, KK, AA, and mr short stack shows J 10.
The flop is Q K A.
Now....what are the odds of all three flopping trips...and stuck hoping for thier fourth or a double runner to get a four way split? Just curious if anyone knows. Turn and River, btw, didn't help anyone.

those are the longest odds ever i bet a royal is more likely...
Skitts what you been smokin tonight, that didn't happen, LOL j/k That is one CRAZY hand for sure, just the odds of having the three top pocket pairs is crazy enough, phew

if we assume that the chance for one guy with his pocket is appr. 2:44x3 [2outs, 44cards left, 3cards to deal on the flop) we come to 13,6% for one of them. because there are three holding a pocket the chance should be 13,6%^3= almost exactly 1:400 that all of them hit on the board. (1:397 to be exactly)
but this does not include the guy who flopped the straight...but ...that was not your question...
Like my HH from awhile back
Mine was Live though

I believe the correct odds of this hand happening would be 1 in a bunch, a whole big bunch, and have no clue how to calculate them ! I would bet a nickle though, that you never see this happen again, even at Full Tilt or Poker Stars...lol..
....Tc...
1 in 2.7 billion
oh wait thats quads vs a royal
