Dwanswong: durrrr drops $1 million

By Christopher Hunt

Say what you will about Tom Dwan's potential long-term success - given his wild, aggressive style - this much is undeniable: He can handle short-term variance like a champ.

Everybody's favorite online action wonderboy was back at Full Tilt's RailHeaven table last night, and he was certainly doing what he does best - throwing big bets around like he's feeding pigeons in a park.

And while typically those bets get safely returned to his roll with a fortuitous river card or two, this time Dwan came out much the worse for wear, getting crushed every which way and ultimately dropping $1 million to his high-stakes foes.

The major beneficiary this time: David Benyamine, who happily gathered up the bulk of durrrr's losses into his own bankroll, finishing the session with close to, not coincidentally, $1 million in his stack.

durrrr's reaction in the chat?

durrrr: bleh gg
durrrr: im done
durrrr: -1m on day not playin well
Patrik Antonius: k

Old-schoolers love to hate on Dwan, insisting he's simply been "running hot" (for three years) and it's only a matter of time before he goes bust. But given his nonchalance about dropping a quick $1 million, it seems safe to say his bankroll is big enough to handle it.

Plenty big enough.

Nonetheless: a bad session is a bad session, and this one included the third-biggest pot so far this week, for a massive $436k.

Yeah, I was watching this table, and remember that hand, when benyamine had a set of 4's. It's so funny how all of the railers are so quick to diss on the players playing at the table. lol. But, just two days prior, this was durrrr at the same table.....

yeah, that's almost 1mil. everyone just started sitting out once Patatino left. Haha, I personally love watching durrrr play, he is the masta. He ended up leaving with 925k. So, I am sure it sucks to lose 1mil in a session. But, he really only lost about 200k-300k, considering his efforts from the prior session.
