At What Point?

At what point do I put this player on a 5 in the hole. I'm thinking middle pair. Once again I will live and learn and store your feedback in the back of my head.

a lot of people don't know how to fold ace rag. sorry it turned out badly for you. u may not have been able to put her on her hand but possibly a bigger pair? her advantage was sitting to your left and being able to slow play her hand according to your bets.

raise more preflop. Also, the river bet is spewy. It's obvious he/she had a hand when she called the turn with that dry board.

Really not much you could do about that one, Only thing that might have saved you a little money is maybe check the flop-- it is one of those way ahead or way behind situations--- if he did have the 5 than you are drawing to 2 outs and if he had the mid pocket pair like you thought than he is pretty much drawing to 2 outs.
In this situation Daniel Negreanus small ball approach might have saved you some chips but i cant really blame you for playing it to the river just a ugly flop for you

I agree with raise more preflop , she smooth callled the flop AND the turn, I'm probably gone after the called flop bet or at least just checking to see if she tries to milk me , which she would have I'm sure , people will play any old Ace online ,gl

OUCH!

Well I got to bet 5x preflop here to start, maybe more (8x for 400 with your stack) with 3 limpers already. This may or may not have gotten the A rag to fold. After that flop you had to figure you're ahead then and bet 1/2 pot. If they call slow it down. You may have a donkey who called with A5 anyway.

GL in the future

The less skilled your opponents the bigger your raises need to be. In free rolls raise lots!

you should raise 4x - to 200 . if you raise too much u never get to play any poker, however if you raise too little they have implied odds to call.

i like your flop bet. however on the turn i think you should try pot control and check and evaluate on the river if you want to try to get some value.

however in this case i think its just a tough play... theres no real way to win this unless you make a great read..

it was a bad flop. I would consider dropping even aces there

A strategy I will use to eliminate limpers and the BB is 3x the BB + 1 BB for every limper. In your case, there was 3 limpers in front of you, so your raise to 150 was not enough to deter a bunch of calls and you do not want all those people in the pot with a pair of queens as what happened happens.
But, your continuation bet on the Flop was fine, but the call should have made you wary. I too might have made another bet on the turn, but I may have tried to see a free river with the pair on the board. No way I make that bet on the river unless I have the nuts.
