Well you seem to have invested far more chips in 66 than I
would , especially on that flop ,and he got insanely lucky with
his T8 off suit , add him to your friends list lmao , gl
Anyway, assuming that you made a good read and put your opponent on a draw on the flop, you only made a min. raise! You invited him to stay in there with you. At that point you needed to make a pot sized or larger raise. That should have been enough to get him off his back-door draw. Once he got his open-ended straight draw on the turn, he took you min. raise (flop) as a sign of weakness and he wasn't going anywhere.
You fell victim to greed. You thought that since you had the best, you'd keep him around to get a few more chips out of him. It backfired, as it often does. If you've only got 66 and the board looks like that and you've made the correct assessment that you've got the best hand, TAKE IT DOWN!
You opened a low pocket pair UTG with a substantial raise. You bet the flop when your pocket pair didn't hit a set. You called raises out of position with over cards to your pair on the board. It appears that you never thought about what your opponent had in his hand.
The first mistake was raising him pre flop, and it all went downhill from there ! A small pocket pair should be easy to get away from aftewr a flop like that, and what he actually had really isn't an issue, nor is how lucky he got. The real issue is how bad you misplayed YOUR hand !
....Tc....
He got lucky, but you should have taken his min. bet on the flop as a sign of weakness and done what you had to to take down the pot while you still had the best hand. In my opinion.
lol, u gotta have a big hand playing against a guy name 72off
As a rule with low PP,wait and see the flop if you can,and if you dont hit trips get out,but if you hit trips with a low PP,then is the time to push, but not too hard unless there is a strait or flush forming.
You were in the middle stages of the tourney. Following up a big pre-flop raise with a little one doesn't say much for the strength of your hand.
YOU TOTALLY OVERPLAYED YOUR SMALL POCKET PAIR.
AND I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR OPPONENT ONLY CALLED YOUR RIVER BET WITH THE NUTS.
THEY PLAYED CRAZY AND STUPID.
TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO READ UP ON PLAYING SMALL POCKET PAIRS. WE ALL NEED TO PLUG LEAKS IN OUR GAME.
