FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky's governor is
looking to make sure all bets are off for more than 140 online
gambling Web sites that operate in the state that's home to the
world's biggest horse race.
Gov. Steve Beshear says his administration is asking a Franklin
County Circuit Court judge to give the state control of 141
gambling Web sites.
Governor Beshear says he's looking to restrict access to Web sites with names such as desperatehousewivesbingo.com or
reeferpoker.com.
Kentucky Justice Secretary J. Michael Brown says the state has
already seized the domain names and is seeking forfeiture.
A hearing is scheduled for Thursday before Judge Thomas Wingate.

gg repost.
I read an article that South Carolina was cracking down hard on live home games. The cops were using some law dating back to the early 1800's that stated it was illegal to play any game involving cards or dice.
There goes my Friday night Yahtzee game. *sigh

Whoareyou,
That would be a big negative, look at a later paragraph and you see that he is looking to restrict access to sites "with names such as desparatehousewivesbingo.com and reeferpoker.com."

Man...
Stoked I live in NZ. None of that stuff going on here....yet!!!
There should be no way they could do this ! Nobody has the right to say a person can't do with their own money, in their own home, whetever the hell they want to do !
Maybe he thinks that there will be more money bet on his stupid horse race, if he has his way ! Horse racing should be banned instead, I have never heard of a poker player dropping dead at the final table, like a horse did after his race this year !
....Tc....
Good luck to you guys and gals from the U.K.
Hope u win the battle...
