not trying to slam you but with the 2nd 9 coming out and then an all in re raise, to call with that was kind of foolish in the first place....
guy just lucked up big time and hit his out :/
Also keeping in mind that your in a $1 game, many players will make foolish bets on weak hands and low pockets pairs.
What a
The suckout sucks, Agree with that. But you could have lost less if you did some things different:
1st: You raised too much preflop. Over 5x the BB with ATs is too much. I would stick in a raise to about 7k/ 7,5k here. You would make him fold a bad hand, he isn't fold to just 2k more if hes something so that makes you control the pot making it less big.
2nd: Flop comes A92 rainbow. Good flop for you, and your opponent makes a probe bet of 3200. Ofc, raising is good here, but your raising to 24,000??? That's overbetting the pot big time, if he has crap like pocket 6's or something you could make him fold with a raise to about half of that, say 12.000. If he calls that you know he might have something. Maby bigger ace, perhaps a 9, which is less likely. ( You see here he made a wrong move by calling, yeah, I agree he's a donkey ) By raising less, your again making the pot smaller, cutting your losses if you loose but making you enough money if you win.
3rd: Now the turn comes.. Another 9. Now you have to know your beat. ( Ofc, you weren't, but what exactly were you putting him on? ) He's betting half his stack here, almost saying to you if you go allin I will call you. So pushing allin here with AT of hearts, with no draw is just, sorry to say, but plain stupid. Unless you had some read on him you must have put him on a Ace big or a 9, maby Queens, that would make some sense, but it's less likely for him to call a raise that big after the flop with Queens.
You see here he's a moron and decided to call showing a sad pocket 4's and sucking out on the river, but if you could have made the pot less big, maby you weren't allin and could have continued playing with a little more chips.
Too bad and better luck next time
Hope this helps abit. This is not to a blog trying to slam you or something, just my thoughts about this hand and the analysis of it.

I agree 100% with TC, FT is rigged, we should all stop playing there immediately!
Tough luck on the suck out!
Today is 4's day yesterday was 5's day. I think you could enter that one in a suck-out contest and win it hands down.
Better luck next time

Maybe the poker god's sensed I wasn't there to protect my comrads cards and they swooped in for the kill..... This only adds fuel to the fire of war between the poer gods and myself!!!! I will avenge this bud!!!!
