How bout Tom Brady..

Sep 8, 2008 1:27 am Report Abuse

Tom Brady got hurt in 1st quarter...im thinking this could be serious like a month or two off, but who knows...The patriots never release info on there players, but for some reason I could see it being at least 1 week off just because he is coming back from another injury already. Any other opinions?

I think they are saying now hes out for the year...good thing im not a pats fan

He's scheduled for an MRI in the morning....so is Vince Young. However, Young's injury is reportedly not as bad as Brady's. I'm not a pats fan so it doesn't really concern me but it is sad to see a great QB go down like that.

Just heard it is an ACL injury and he will be out for the season... I am not a Pats fan, but I never want to see anyone injured in this manner.

hopefully brady is done for the season

Huge blow for the Pats. Do they even make the playoffs still behind this Cassel kid now? Though they do have some hope regardless with the fact that the AFC east is so weak.
MetallicaMami Sep 8, 2008 4:49 am

There's no way to say for sure if someone will be out for the season until all the medical tests are done. Let's just hope that all of the players that got injured today will be able to come back.

i love the pats and brady isnt as good as people think he is, he has great recievers a great line and plays in a system so he can succeed, matt cassell will be a good QB if he has to play a few games or the season

acl injury...OUT FOR SEASON HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I LOVE IT......GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Canadensis Sep 8, 2008 6:11 am
If Mr. Brady does have significant damage to his ACL then I can hear a phone call for a Mr. Daunte Culpepper to unretire immediately!!!!

Weak AFC east? Anybody watch the BUFFALO BILLS? - Better start paying attention......................
tripps747 Sep 8, 2008 6:27 am

Yep what a shame. I think this injury is a set up and paves the way for Bret Farve and the Jets too win it all, that way Farve will retire finaly as a champion.

Yep I know conspiracy theory.....

the only weak team in the AFC east is the Phins!!!!!!! Buffalo is circling the wagon once again! I think he will play again this season but miss about 4-8 weeks
9sublime9 Sep 8, 2008 7:41 am
Yeah I personally see the AFC east as pretty weak. The Bills? Yeah they look a little stronger this season but still have a lot of convincing to do since they haven't made the playoffs since 1999 last. The Jets? The addition of Favre and others made them a better team then they were last season but to make the playoffs they are going to need to play more then I think they are actually capable. Finally the Fins? Come on now, they are just bad. Who knows, someone could finally surprise this season though.
rbl656 Sep 8, 2008 3:28 pm
Come on guys, dont be happy someones hurt, you should want teams to play each other at there best and have the best team win, noone should rout for someone to be seriously injured
Sparkling Sep 8, 2008 3:32 pm
KARMA on the cheaters! I'll say it again.. karma takes a toll on those who have done bad. KARMA!
XDonkeyShowX Sep 8, 2008 3:37 pm

he will be back who knows when ? it gives the rest of the NFL a 99% better chance of winning the super bowl................................

to all you idiots that are cheering brady's misfortune, we still have the best team in the NFL, with the pats its about system an not superstars, bray just blossomed into a superstar
spazmonkey247 Sep 9, 2008 5:56 am
As a pats fan it was a depressing day for me but we still have the easiest route to the playoffs by far we play so many weak teams i say we still make it to the playoffs but anyf uther its too hard to tell im not a big Cassel fan..in fact i think he shoulda been 3rd string from his preformace in the preseason..but we have talent everywhere else that can step up from WRs to RBs and a old but expirenced D i think we still win 11 games IMO
rbl656 Sep 9, 2008 7:39 pm
Ill admit I like certain players on patriots but I am an eagles fan. When Mcnabb got hurt I was real about it and knew we had no chance...however it suprises me...well actually it doesnt...that Pats fans still think they can win 11 games without one of the greatest QBs in NFL history. Even with an easy division, the Pats barely managed to beat the Chiefs...one of the NFLs worst teams, so I wouldnt be surprised to see them maybe win 8 games, but I dont know if that will be enough to get in...maybe it will, but put them against Playoff teams and they gonna be killed...and Im just being real, I wish Pats fans would be too.
