I didn't see it Tuesday, but I did see it when that episode of WSOP Main Event on ESPN reran the next evening on the Deuce. I hadn't seen a royal flush before in any setting, either. I was involved in a 'live' game once in which my girlfriend hit quad aces, but I've only had them electronically, and only once at that.
Needless to say, quad Aces losing to a Royal Flush is sick, sick, sick. Norman Chad's remark about being able to say your losing hand at the Main Event was four aces was funny but probably not consoling to the loser.
I played
once and flopped

So it was in the bag little did I know there was a guy playing
against me so he hit his set the turn was
which gave him a house and I am sure he thought he was good there but he still didn't push until the river
yup I am sure it was his dream hand everything every step of the way went perfectly for him. But I still won. Wildest hand I ever played
Well, your hand wasn't quite the nuts.
How would you have felt about it if your opponent had been playing, say, 67c and hit the 8c on the turn or river?
lol good point loco!!!1 congrats
MY POINT STAYS THE SAME.
My only point is that it wasn't certain to be the nuts until the river came off. It wasn't 'in the bag' after the flop. But I was mainly joshin' back :O because I can't imagine ever laying down a straight flush, even if a higher straight flush were possible.
