Tonights RB Freeroll

Sep 1, 2008 6:36 am Report Abuse

I have been playing a majority of the RB freerolls since I joined RB a few months ago. I haven't been able to place in the money at all! It seems like every time I have a good lead, BAM! my cards go dead and so do I. All of a sudden my chips are gone. Tonight I logged onto PS and signed up for tonights RB freeroll. I was surprised to see the game listed as "LIMIT Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball." My first reaction was "What in the hell is that!" So.....I went onto Pokerstars website and read how to play. I figured, I might as well play the game and get a little experience playing what was for me, a new game. Well, imagine my surprise when I was able to finish in 42nd place and actually won .80. (Its not about how much I won, Its the fact that I finally WON!

How often do Railbirds play this game in their freerolls? I did have fun playing it. I guess I am pretty good at getting lousy cards in hold-em so this must be a good game for me to play! lol

Great Job orlandmb!! I think I was at your table for a while. You played great no matter how long you've played that particular game.

LOL, Congrats. I think this is about the 3rd, maybe 4th time they've had this 2-7 draw. I've played it every time, and still don't like it. I did manage somehow to make it to 48th, but if this was the only poker game to play, I would quit lol.

GL on the felts !!

"Its not about how much I won, Its the fact that I finally WON! "

Exactly. The first hurdle is always the most difficult to overcome, and therefore it is the greatest confidence booster. Things will only be better for you on the tables in the future. Good luck and congratulations.
