I can follow in those large footprints!!
Anyway, lets proceed! Here's the who's who lol!! Maybe some one
went out b4 I got round the tables, if so sry I missed you!!

I see that Papapower didnt waste time!!!!
I have to say at this point that I had a self rule this week, in that I
would only play AA or 72os until final table lmao!! never saw one
of them the whole time!! But I did make 1 hand at final table!!!

Ha ha ha allin with 145 chips!!!

AK never held for bob!!

Rhonda's ladies played well tonight!!

Even the sitter lasted longer than most lmao!! Rhonda tried to take her out
earlier and could only match her hand!!!! A Sin move lol!!

Graveyard 10's did not help Bruce!!

Schellas was a little peeved to say the least, runner, runner, runner diamonds!!
I kicked the dog too Schel lmao!! My dog lol!!

Joris had a plan, wait until FTP set up the two bigstacks!!
Nice going Rhonda but your lady let you down on this occasion!!!
And the final two players made it short and sweet for dadogg!!
Congratulations to this weeks TROPHY winners!!

Thanks all that played, we had fun, lets do it again!!

They have it listed at the old time of 1400
I missed this, thought it wasn't scheduled.
thought it was still at 2pm est.
Ahh, this invites so many comments. Let us begin: "Thank You" manx for attempting to fill the very big shoes left by PapaPower - this is a great tournament with a wonderful history, and it looks as if the future (with your fine direction) will continue to be more of the same ... excellence.
Thank you to all who participated - especially those who were on my table and put up with the lags and disconnects - the problem was my computer - although I know some of you also suffered delays from FTP - please pretend that I intended to fold every hand.
Congratulations to everyone who "made" money - this is an unusual format - and to walk away with more than the entry fee is an accomplishment. Well done!
The DonkeyNation hopes that by continuing this legacy, established by PapaPower, that all members of RB.com will enjoy a game that is both challenging and ... well, let's face it ... different - while you may not need to wear a donkey-suit for this tournament, it is a huge swing from standard play. May everyone who participates enjoy the challenge and the fun.
Good luck - play well & profit.
Great job Manx for hosting and thanks for the trophy....MY VERY FIRST!!!! WOOOOOOOT!!!!
Congratulations to all who made ITM!!!!!!!! I had a lot of fun playing this one!!!!
On behalf of DonkeyNation, I wish to apologize to those who missed out on this week's tournament - the fault is mine - manx has done everything (in fact, more and beyond the realm of expected work) to ensure the transfer of responsibility of this tournament from PapaPower to DonkeyNation.
Life sometimes interferes with the free-time of recreational-poker and I was taken away from this site due to a natural disaster (Tropical Storm Fay) - the failure to properly transfer the announcement of the time change, although I believe we (DonkeyNation) did make blogs pointing people to the correct time-slot - is totally mine, not manx's. He is doing everything humanly possible to continue this great tournament, and I beg everyone to concentrate on the good (the tournament lives!) and forgive the bad (I'm an A$$hole).
Thank you.
Congratulations to all ITM and especially to dadogg!
Sweet a trophy for third place am loving it!
See ya'll again next week.
More information (explanation) as to the time change: this was (& continues to be) the tournament birthed by PapaPower - DonkeyNation has had (& continue to present) a tournament at 15:00 (server time).
When the Herd took up the obligation to save this tournament, a decision to move it forward 1 hour was made to insure that both tournaments would run back-to-back rather than overlap.
This makes sense to the majority of DonkeyNation members. However, we are OPEN to all suggestions and ideas as to how to continue this tournament with the most participation and RB.com involvement - including both day and time changes.
PLEASE let us know. Thank you.
Another great time. Congrats to dadogg and to all who made ITM.
Joroco, you are far from being an A$$hole.
Thank you DNC for taking over this event, I would have hated to see it end. So much fun getting our donk on every week.
Had a great time. Keep getting the ladies and even had them busted once by trip nines.
Papa set up a great tourney and TheDonkeyNation is doing a great job keeping it going.
CONGRATS ALL!!!! GREAT TRNY!!!
Great job on this blog Manx! Those trophies ROCK!!!!
Had a great time even though I went out 5th.
Bruce

Well, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS to dadogg for the win this week and to RoseG42 for the win last week. And also to all who play in this wierd and wonderful tournament. It is soooooo much fun. Fast, furious excitement.
We all have personal lives and poker MUST take a back seat at times. Recently, I was presented with a challenge in my personal schedule that interferes with my normal weekend activities. I am very heavily involved in Search and Rescue teams in my local area. And I have taken on the responsibility of training many of these team members to become better prepared to face the challenges, both physical and mental, that they may face on any given day.
So, as this will take up quite a bit of my time over the next several months, I was faced with a decision: cancel the Donkfest or find someone who would be willing to continue hosting it. The Donkey Nation stepped up to bat here. The A$$ Kicking Tournament followed the Donkfest and this opportunity to host a Sunday afternoon double header was presented to them and accepted.....with my everlasting thanks. Blogs were posted about these changes including the time change --- first by me prior to last week's tourney and then again by The Donkey Nation all this week and bumped to the front page daily. I'm sorry that some of you missed the tournament this week and I take full responsibility for not notifying Private Tournaments about the change. I just never occurred to me to do so and I apologize for that.
I hope everyone will continue to support the Donkfest as it really is a stress reliever to play this wacky format with friends. And the A$$ Kicker right behind it is a perfect fit for your Sunday afternoon. I'll do my very best to play as much as possible in both of these so come on out and take my chips and my $$.
