sdbriltz Aug 30, 2008 11:01 pm
she calls off 1/4 her chips on the turn for a 18% chance for her flush to come by the river I m pot commited she is getting no where near the odds to call a weak flush draw like that
tubzz111 Aug 30, 2008 11:11 pm
yip it makes u want 2 rip the dealer head of his shoulders and the person that calls with 5 and 2
camel109 Aug 30, 2008 11:12 pm

Your last bet made no sense.
sdbriltz Aug 30, 2008 11:49 pm
i m already pot commited? what should i check to her and let her take controll and bluff the flush? i put her on AK why else would you call 5x the bb with i wanted her to decied if her AK was good look at the betting
bobcards Aug 31, 2008 12:35 am
i really don't ever see AK played this way. maybe Kx but this looked like a drawing hand all the way. and if you're going to bet enough to make you pot committed on the turn then why not just shove it all there?

I don't under stand your bet on either the turn or the river. You had nothing on the turn except one pair of aces, she had plenty of chips and 11 out.

She was big stack preflop and had you heads up with a possible double belly buster or flush.

On the flop it cost her just 840 chips to take a look at either a flush or straight draw. I don't understand why she never reraised you on the flop.
sdbriltz Aug 31, 2008 1:55 am

because she knew i was playing solid and raising with only premuim hands she called to get lucky she still called off over 1/4 of her chips on the turn on a 18% like i said i put her AK and trying to chase her out of the pot of course i m going to pot bet to get her out she had lots of chips!!!! i wanted it to cost her i mean come on any less and I m giving odds to call if she is on a draw. I mean come on people what am I suppose to do check and let her out play me there on a draw? let her put me on the deciesion? this way I was controlling the pot and making her decied if her cards were good. She was only 18% after the turn card. thats less that 1 in 5 that her hand would hit

beside I could have easliy had AK of clubs against her 52 suited. She had been playing very solid up till then. she was ony calling witch said to me she didnt have that strong of a hand she could have had a set and was slow playing but my thought was if I had a set i would have repopped.

why would you say reraise on a draw? that makes no sence to me at all

ButtonDog Aug 31, 2008 2:18 am
I say reraise by her because a good player plays the player and not the cards. She needed to put you on the defensive.
