Like the title says anyone really superstitious or has any wives tales?
For example, my mom told me, when I was 12, if you see a bird hit a window someone in your family dies. The freaky part about this is while I was at work, a few years ago, I saw this happened and a few days later my Grandfather passed away.
A wives tale I heard is that if you dropped a utensil someone hungry is coming over.
This one is for the superstitious poker players, my Grandmother told me that when her mother was playing cards and would get a string of bad cards she would run around her chair, two or three times, to receive better cards. This one I never tried.
What's your superstition or do you have any wives tales?
