Unfreakin' Believable

Unfreakin' Believable, I am thinking, as I stand there closing the gate to the Marina, after just going to town, and getting my van serviced ! The rear spare tire cover is missing, and it has my Licence Plate bolted to it ! I had came straight home from the Grease Monkey, so backtracking I went in a panic fury, no, but in an anxious state of mind, at least ! It wasn't to be found ! I covered every square inch that I had traveled, and it was gone, the oil change place was closed, and I wasn't feelin' like I was on top of the world, like I should be right now !

When I got back from looking, as I was closing the gate behind me, my trusted Van died, right there ! When I got back in it didn't want to start, so now, I am starting to get a little more than fustrated....lol....After about 1/2 of a battery of cranking, it started, and I drove it to where it is setting right now, and took this picture:

This morning, after a night that wasn't one of fun, I got on the phone, and called the monkey that had serviced my van, and tell them we had a problem, come to find out, the last thing that happened there last night, was me driving off, after the van went thru an automatic car wash, and dryer. It seems that they didn't get the cover on good enough after checking the spare, and the wash rack, had knocked my cover off, and they had it there at the store !..........OH YAAA !.......

I drive around town, stopping at a couple of places, and on the way back, I hit the gas harder than normal, and the van responded fine...Things were looking up again ! Once again, just inside the gate, I am closing the gates and the damn thing dies AGAIN ! Same spot as before ! Now I don't know what to think ! I am about to get to my limits with patience and all, but thankfully it started back up after a bit, and I drove it on up to the house, shut it off, and got out disgusted, thinking the whole weekend was ruined, or was it ?

I jumped online, seems there is an Enterprise Rent A Car about 1 1/2 miles from here, and there was the phone #, so I scooped up the phone, and guess what, they are running a special...lol...yea right I think, but before it was all said and done, I had a ride for the weekend, and the van would have to wait until Tuesday, to be looked after. Here is what they brought me :

I am going to wait until the Salt Lake City rush hour traffic dies down before I go, but at least now, I have a vehicle that I shouldn't be a problem, and if it is, it is somebody Else's to fix, not mine ! I can't believe that I am still sitting here in Paradise, being as it is 6:00 PM on my birthday and all, but I guess all things work out in the end, and as long as I get to go, then all is well ! Here is what home looks like today :

Just thought I would let you birdies know that the original plan had a monkey wrench thrown in it, and I am leaving 24 hours later than I thought I would, none the less, it is my Birthday, and I am going to play Live Casino Poker !!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo !!!!! Now it is time to go get in the shower, get dressed and load up the ride, so I can roll on out of here, but I couldn't go, without saying good bye to all of you, my Railbirds Friends, and I hope you have a Great Weekend as well !..............
