I've recently been having a bad run of cards in my games this week. It's very frustrating when I open the pot from late position with ATs and get called down by the BB with his J6 offsuit and he hits bottom pair to take the hand down. I was wondering what some of you other birdies do when you're running cold to help mellow yourselves out. Lately I've been getting really stressed by some of the bad beats I've been taking and I think I need to find a better way to vent then yelling strings of expletives at the computer when I have JTs, the board is JJ9T by the turn and my opponent pushes at me with KJ and hits a K on the river to take me out... Any suggestions?

Roll a big fat one!

PUT DOWN THE MONITER, STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER, PUT HOT PEPPER SAUCE ON YOUR TONGUE TO REMIND YOU NOT TO CURSE. (they can't hear you in cyberspace anyway). Go take a long cool shower. Play spider with one suit for the rest of the day.
