McCains VP pick.

Aug 30, 2008 12:33 am Report Abuse

OK so I am not a fan of John McCain. I pretty much dislike all politicians. I hate socialism, it is the greatest evil in the world as it deprives people of trying to be their best and give their all. Liberals drive me nuts with their don't tell me what to do or how to be, but if we don't like what you are or dislike what you do we will make laws against you.

So John McCain picks a relatively unknown, inexperienced conservative woman for his VP. Not only that, she has 5 children, a husband who is a member of the steel workers union and they were high school sweethearts. Fortunately for me, I know who she is and have seen interviews and read articles about her. The more you find out about her, the more you will admire her. I really believe she has given me a person to vote FOR.

It is funny to watch the democrats try to scramble around trying to make her look stupid and evil. They are touting her lack of experience when they said Obamas lack of experience for PRESIDENT didn't matter!! LMFAO!!

Obama says he wants change yet selected a 30 year, liberal politics as usual guy for his VP. Lot's of change there huh? Obama says that his friendships with terrorists and a reverand who is really anti American shouldn't bother you. Sorry, who you hang out with and who you listen to does matter to ME.

I can tell you from seeing her being interviewed that Joe Biden better be careful. She is extremely smart and while not having his experience in Washington, she will clean his clock because she knows what she believes, and will be able to learn quickly before they meet for their one debate.

All in all it is actually nice to see a fresh face in the spotlight. Maybe it is a risk to select her, but can you imagine the news people saying how, if McCain had selected any of the generic republicans who also were on the short list, the media would have been talking about the same old same old being the VP.

Like I said before, I am not a big fan of politics. I have my own views about what our country should be like, and I don't like the current people running our country. But this is some funny shyt watching the democrats run around in circles and the media trying as hard as it can to find any dirt they can on this woman.

We shall see how the media and the democrats try to belittle and demonize this woman. Funny how if she were a liberal, they wouldn't care about any of the things they are denouncing her for. Amazingly, she would be the perfect type of woman for feminists, except for, oh yeah, she's pro-life and a republican.

God this political season just got interesting!!

I don't plan on voting for neither McCain nor Obama, but of the four on those two tickets she is the only one to have Executive experience. The other three are U.S Senators, which are not executive jobs. She is a Governor, which is an executive position.

She knows how to shot a gun to.

I'm a McCain fan and his choice of VP running mate just reinforced my opinion of him! She's a good choice and one with a level head, unlike the democrats.

If Bama gets elected will the first lady be bamamama?

Re socialism - Georges Clemenceau said something like, if a man is not a socialist at age 20 then he has no heart, if he is still a socialist at age 40 then he has no brain.

We have suffered socliastic lying in the UK for 11 years so it will soon be time to change. Interestingly, there is a lost of similarity between Bama and Blair - lawyer background, orator, talk of change but no substantive ideas, etc. - anyway i wish you better luck than we have had.

I know alot about Sarah Palin she is my Governor ,for the time being anyway. I remember when she first ran for Mayor of Wasilla a small town for anywhere but Alaska she cleaned house there and fixed many things in the few years she was Mayor. Then she was appointed to a position in theoil and gas commission, there she brought charges of corruption against the leader of her own party and had him removed from his chairmanship. In my opinion she will make a very good VP, she is Honest and not affraid of doing what is right regardless of the consequences

Not really any difference, they all get into office with one thing in mind finding ways to make theirselves richer, they could give two cents about us really.

CalculatedMove Aug 30, 2008 1:00 am
thats my opinion of course.

Well Sarah just Bullied the legislation to approve a 1200$ energy bonus for all Alaskans this year, she brought them back twice after the regular session was over until it passed. We will be getting the checks in 3 weeks so I know she will fight for her constituents...

Don't know much about her yet but it is refreshing to see a person that may really mean to go into office to help the people that they work for.
