Like I honestly don't understand what they are thinking. I really think that the real money poker players play the same way as the play money players. And the worse thing about it: they know that they are beat, but they don't even scruple to think about what they are doing. Is every single person on
Pokerstars a big fat cynic?
Two months ago when I first started playing online poker, I wasn't looking to compete against "bad" players or to make money off of maniacs. All I wanted to do was to improve my poker game (especially online tournament play), and there is no better site to do so than Pokerstars. The above hand histories are only a fraction of what I had endured. I'm seriously considering taking a long break from online poker, at least for two months, or maybe forever. At exactly 2:00 PM ET today, I will uninstall this software.
When I used to play live poker with my buddies, it was an enjoyable experience even though I had many more bad beats than what I am experiencing now. At least one thing is for sure, the buddies that I play with
know what they are doing, they
know the decisions that they make are right. For the past too weeks--actually the past two months-- I have achieved nothing by playing online. All those dreams of building and maintaining a big bankroll are now shattered. The experience of trying to make $10, 000 rain is much different than trying to make $10 rain. Yep, that is all I got now $10. I believe that my strategy is perfectly fine and to put it into simple words,
nothing has gone right for me. Nevertheless, the Railbirds community has shown me the support and generosity I need to achieve success (especially my clan the Poker Wizards) . But I'm afraid nothing will pull me through this tough downswing.
At first I found it quite humorous to see these plays, but now I dread to ever peek at them again. I'm having a tough time acknowledging what is in front of me and at the same time, I'm having a tough time stomaching it. Some people may say,
if you think your little bad beats are bad? Then you shouldn't play poker, because you don't got no balls. Well it isn't all about the bad beats, its more than that, and no one can understand it better than I could.
In a few minutes I am going to spend my last few dollars on one tournament, and unless if something miraculously happens, nothing with convince me to continue playing online poker.
I definitely hope that this will not be a final farewell to the wonderful RB community, but right now, the best thing for me is to take a step back from this.
Thank you all once again, and special thanks to chimpy and Storm for allowing me to join their clan, and I am truly sorry that our affiliation didn't last too long.

I agree totally.....$1.00 games don't resemble Real Money Poker just as freerolls will never either.
With literally millions of users on PS you have to play in higher games to feel more like tourney poker. Otherwise get used to that kinda game and roll with it.
I just lost pkt kings all-in pre-flop with 7,000 chips to a 3/5 offsuit caller!!!! lol
The nut only had 8000 chips
On Full Tilt you will be able to finance your real money poker by playing in the 500.000 play money buy-in they have each night at 2040 hours. It pays out in real money. I have played it four times and cashed each time. It usually has 35 to 50 players and pays 18 places with the smallest payout being $2.00 in real money.
The money the real money players play with is like play money to them. It's deposited onto the the poker sites and after that it's just a matter of clicking on the enter tab without seeing any cash leave their hand and going into the hands of a cashier.
maybe you wanna think about Univarns advice.
Now about play higher limits. I believe that in any limit there is, there will always be donkeys. A lot less, definitely, but surely there exist. Unless if I want to dent my bankroll, I would first have to play low limits, and once I get the money, I would move higher. Right now I'm feeling more helpless than anything.
The thing with Poker Stars is the river does seem to reward a lot there , but another point is one pair is not to hard to beat when it goes all the way to the river either , and they will call you all the way to the river in those limits , the last hand with the flush and the boat it just brutal , but he was allowed to limp in for free to hit his set and he wasn't going away after that ,GL
