Okay I read a blog recently asking people about their favorite fast food chain, and had a few agree with me that the Wendy's baconator is really the best cheap burger out there, and that gave me an idea for my own blog.
I read an article in Rolling Stone recently celebrating the tenth anniversary of The Big Labowski and about how it was a box office flop but has gone on to make more in dvd sales then it did originally and they consider it one of the greatest movies ever (which I thought it was from the time I saw it). I suggest giving the article a read ( http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/22694342/the_decade_of_the_dude/ )and then watching the movie.
Anyway then there was another original comedy that came out a few years ago made by the best band in the word Tenacious D called The Pick of Destiny. And then that threw me into a quandry! I just can't decide which movie was better. Any input from y'all??
Despite what the movie poster says I'm still leaning towards The Big Labowsky myself

I would have to say my favorite of the last 10 years would be Ghost Rider ! Followed by "300", and last but not least, a XXX feature called "Swallow"...lol...

a friend of mine in yahoo used to annoy the entire room
by quoting from the big lebowski movie all night lmaoo ,
he'd just keep saying random quotes like " the dude abides "
which I loved ! , but no else ever knew what he meant lmaoo

I love so many movies, i really liked Super Bad, that movie was so funny, that i couldnt remember to many funny parts at first, because the whole movie was hilarious.
As for the movie's listed above, "your my little baby Sas", lol.
Fight Club is one of my favorites not sure what my favorite movie is though.

For serious movies Crash is awesome, portrays prejudice on so many levels.
The Big L was good and T D and the pick of D was too but they are definitely enhanced by green enthusiats LOL.
But Snatch is probably the best movie youve never seen!!!!!

I've seen them both and have to go with The Big Lewbowski. I can't say that it was the best film in the last ten years but would say it is one of the best. I would say about any Cohen Bros film is right up at the top of any period. But there are too may genres to simple state that one film is better than another. Although some do transcend boundaries and are truely great films.
As far as Tenacious D goes I liked Jack Black and Tenacious D in High Fidelity based on Nick Hornsby's book of the same title. I also think that Be Kind Please rewind was a better vehicle for Jack Black.
