Really hating tourneys at full tilt

One thing I can not stand about the tourneys at FT, is that you play so long only to get screwed near the money. Im second in chips in a 550 player tourney. Get dealt a pair of Queens, flop is Q - 6- 8. Six and eight are clubs. One lucky fellow goes all in with that flop, I have to call. He flips over A-7 of clubs. Didnt even have to look, I knew what the river would be. Sure enough 10 clubs. I lose about half my stack. Next hand I get dealt another pair of queens. He acts first and goes all in. Come on I say. Well I call. Flop is A Q 10. Here we go again. Hes holding A K. Turn is a three. River is a Jack. Three hours of playing. All for naught. No cash. Back to back bad beats. All in less than three minutes. Happens every freakin time. Ive cashed only three times in tourneys for a grand sum of 12 dollars. Terrible.

Thanks,

But if that ALWAYS happened, then I'd have made my royal flush on the first hand of the Railbirds freeroll last night on Poker Stars.
I had AJ of spades, the flop was KQ of spades plus a seven. A blank came on the river, but I couldn't let it go even when my opponent pushed. He had K7. I'm sure when he saw my holding, his heart skipped a beat, but the river was another blank and he took it all. I know, I probably didn't have enough outs to make that all-in call after the turn, but how many of us are going to pass up the chance to make a royal flush if we're four-fifths of the way there after the flop? I probably should have shoved after the flop, since I knew that's what was likely to happen.
Anyway, I've read the saying that if you don't win a few pots "coming from behind," you're not being aggressive enough. And when you're on the bubble and potentially being put at-risk, you should even consider folding pocket Aces if you don't want to take the chance of premature bust-out.
Correction from my previous post: blank on the TURN before the all-in call.
