Ok so i joined a USA Summer Games trny on Pokerstars today and look like they have them every 30 mins from what i see.
To register for a Summer Games qualifier, open the PokerStars lobby, click 'Tourney' and 'Regional'. Here's the order of events
About 2000 players join the trny and the top 250 get $5.00 , its a great BR starter for ones that cant get funds online.

Also, after you make the top 50, you qualify for round 2. round 2 will have 1500 players (i think) and the top 140 wins 20.00, with the top 5 getting tickets for the main event.
Its limit Holdem, so only people with no life have the time to play them, and win... lol
Waste of time, I suggest you dont play in it...

They also run more than one of these on the same night, I suggest you wait for the second one. I have been looking at the entries, and it seems to be about half as many entries for the second tourney. If all you'r trying for is to make the top 250 for your $5.... the second tourney will incrase your chances greatly.
And dont listen to AttAttack, if you know how to play limit poker it is really easy yo do well in these tourneys. and like someone else allready said, it only takes about 1.5 hours to make top 50.
This week it's limit,.. next week something else,.. and so on and so on.
I'm going to tell some of my newbie buddies to check these out for sure! (beats transferring funds to them)
