Congrats KeiKel! -Winner of A55A55IN's Experimental Tournaments -Test Two -Omaha HiLo -Raise It or Fold It

I'd like to thank the 36 players that came out for the game!!

It was a remarkable success.

My first experiment took 6 hours, with about 5 & 1/2 hours of actual play (due to breaks).

This one was over in less than half that time.

There were a few minor glitches early on but once the rules were clear people followed them.

Except for one player...and I got a PM from them about what happened.

Please note that I don't mention the players name. It doesn't matter.

If you want to play in my future tournaments .....you won't mention their name either.

David, I just got in to find that my cousin played your tournament in my place. I had an emergency and was not home when the game started. My cousin saw it pop up and played it and of course not knowing the rules I'm sure he didn't play it right. He was out by the time I got home. I hope he didn't screw things up to bad. Sorry

No worries! It didn't mess things up too badly, crap happens!

Of the original 36 that started the tourney 22 made the first break.

Players bought back in with their 2 available rebuys 38 times in that first hour.

In the second hour the rate of attrition slowed....a tiny bit.

Four players must have missed the memo, and the game, since they sat out the whole tournament instead of playing.

All four of the sitters were knocked out in the second hour....but 3 of them still made the top 18....LOL

That made sitting out looked like a good strategy! ( I should have tried that myself.....I went out in 29th)

Just after level 5 started the game came down to the top 18 on two tables.

and 20 minutes later the final table formed.



Five minutes later we had the 7 in the money left!



As you can see in the two pictures above KeiKel had the lead going into the final table.

It slipped a few times but she managed to regain it and held on to win the game!
