    Results of PTT Week 5 NLHE w/ Rebuys

    Season Two - Week 5 Results Blog

    18 people began the NL Hold 'em w/ rebuys tournament this week. The chips and the money were flying in the first hour creating a total of 26 rebuys, 14 add-ons, and a total prize pool of $58. This week was a six handed event so only the top six made the final table and these are the six that made the final table.

    Two of the six that made it there were in search of a history making third PTT title. Papapower and SilentBobAK47 were the ones looking to win number three while the rest looked to play the role of spoiler.

    Results
    6th place: bj9855
    5th place: SilentBobAK47 (XTokerStar420X)
    4th place: t4t_wcps

    The remaining three players were in the money. The focus was now on winning the PTT title.

    3rd place: MeTim2 (Me Tim)

    Heads-up play then began between BAT357 and papapower who was one elimination away from winning that third PTT title. Here is the hand that decided the tournament.

    In the end, papapower had all of the chips in play and had captured PTT championship number three!

    Well, I do have to say this series is getting tougher and tougher every week. Tim and Bat put up a tremendous battle and I had to use every trick I could think of just to stay even with these guys. Awesome players. So glad I found a little something that I could use effectively to take it down this week. I know I'll have to change my game up next week cause Bat is out to get me now, for sure. LOL

    Thanks for this series, Bob. It's great poker against great players.

    I should have laid that last hand down, even with only about 4k left...but, that's DA BAT, too dumb! lol, this was my first entry into this series and I enjoyed it very much! I don't know if I will be able to play them every week...only did this time because I was off work today, thanks to Fay!
    Great game and atmosphere....nice job Papa on the win!

    GJ Papa and bat. I would have tryed harder but had to get up for work this morning and it looked like that game was gonna last all night. So I just took a chance and lost.

    Seamed like the 3 of us played nearly an Hr befor I gave up. Was very tough competition.

    I know Papa made a great comeback cause I hit him hard early. He is tough to beat.
