Today I try to see as many flops as I can, which meant calling some raises with not much. Things went really good up into the suck out hand which makes me want to quit again.

I've read a few of your posts about the various disappointments on the tables. Without a 'detailed' look at your play and strategies, it's hard to tell why you see so many bad showdowns, but it isn't the site (imo). I play on Stars and FT almost exclusively, have never made a deposit, and have seen some success on both, considering the level of play online in FR's and micro/low stakes and buy-ins.

Have you analyzed your play and strategies in regards to playing more on position, reads and stack sizes? Many online players do not. Below is a portion of Poker Tips on FT. What do you think of it?

Quoted from FT's Tips from Poker Pros #14 (by Chris Ferguson):

"How much of a difference is there between ring game strategy and tournament strategy?

The answer: Not as much as you think.

Before you worry about adjusting for tournaments, concentrate on adjusting for the other players. The most important skill in poker is the ability to react to a wide range of opponents playing a wide range of styles. Players who can do this will thrive in both ring games and tournaments alike.

Many of the most costly tournament mistakes are the result of players over-adjusting for tournament play."
