Five hands into this tourney Im dealt K-9. No raises so I stay in. Flop is K K 10. First to bet makes a large bet, the second to bet raises. Im ready to get out of the hand, but I call. Next card 9. Im in I figure. First player checks, Second player bets large, I figure him for the other king. Third player bets enough to put me all in. I say wtf Im pot committed by now and call. First player shows K 10, Second player shows a pair of tens. Thanks full tilt. While Im writing this Im licking my wounds. Playing a 10-25 cent table. I get dealt on the fourth hand there a pair of jacks. Flop is 10-10-J. I check, someone comes out with a large bet of half my chips, right now I have the second best hand possible. Only pocket tens can beat me. Next card is a 3, He bets enough to put me all in again. I say to myself come on. After thinking about it for all my time I call. He flips over pocket aces cool all I have to do is avoid another ace. The river shows an ace. I lose in nine hands all they money I just deposited. Short night. If this didnt happen all the time to me, I would say ok a bad night , but it happens all the freaking time. One other thing that happens way to often is I get dealt the same hand two times in a row. The last and final occurance that happens regularly is After a big pot I get dealt on the next hand the cards that would have completed the prior hand. That happens way to often also.

And why you are blaming Full Tilt for something that is just a part of poker escapes me.
I am just saying
obv. those are just cold decks that are near impossible to fold. I must say however why would you take all of your when you have J's full you are never going to fold or put your opponent on TT, most would consider that a slowroll an you know maybe the A on the river was justification no offense.
wow... bummer. THese are terrible hands obviously,.. but are the exception.. not the rule. I've had runs where I hit badbeats for 20 games in a row (it was rare and it was trying but I managed to hang tough and work on some of my leaks which personally are almost all psychological).
From reading over your blog here, "considering folding??.. figured I'd stay in?",.. are you always just 'calling',.. or are you putting other's to a decision? Just wondering cuz these hands are so obvious to be thinking of extracting max. cash instead of actually considering laying it down.
One last thing,.. I lose all the money I had just deposited. I don't know but for myself I made a decision to deposit just one time and try to do what I could with it which forced bankroll management to be an important factor (ie. I would never take more than 5-10% of my roll onto any one table,.. and for playing in mtts, I prefer to only invest 2-3% of my roll for an entry fee,... cheaper for sngs,... 1-2%. I found my intial deposit wasn't quite enough and even though I was still at around the same amount, I needed to invest a bit more so that I could play on tables with a comfortable roll backing me.
GL next time!
as i played the very first time at pokerstars i got dealt within the first 6 hands:
one four of a kind, one fullhouse, one flush and once trips...as it seems a nice bait for someone who wants to deposit money, dont ya think?!!!
TODAY: the carddecks are so amazing that the dealer
riggesmhmhmm...Shuffles the cards so that i lose each second set(!!!) ...at fooltilt i played once in a private tourney...within 20 hands i flopped 7(!!!) times two pairs or a set which i EVER would have lost on the river ...amazing enuff...but the really much more "amazing" thing was that it was -exceptional one case- EVER against the tourney-host(!!!!)...so, believe me, kizzmann, i would never deposit money on such a site...and..what wonder..it works...because i have a nice bankroll there , some guys may think because of my skill, i say...its only because they want to attempt me to play higher buyins and after the money is lost that i have to deposit money ...as it was at pokerstars.
some examples about the screwing are still left to tell you , so that you see that you are not alone with your thoughts:
at pokerstars, as i played the first times for realmoney and i got unbelievable sucked out and lost the deposited money, almost ever on the river...and i went after it to playmoneytables i would have won everytime at least two of the first three played hands ...equal how crappy the hands were.
at bwinpoker it happend almost the same as at stars and fulltilt til i left them and after i made a break of almost one year with realmoneygames i got suddenly also very very lucky....you just need to take a look on my stats at pokerstars, fulltilt and bwinpoker...and you will see that this is not a fiction...
this week i played the very first time at tony G poker and amazingly i won already in the very first game ....well, you can guess what my thoughts are , LOL
ONLY BEST OF LUCK TO YOU KIZZMANN; STAY PATIENT! and NEVER deposit money!!!
