After an abusive 6-7 weeks on the tables, primarily STUD Hi Limit ring games. I had to walk away from STUD, and with being busy from work, became very selective on what I played. I rarely log into to the email account I have associated with Full TIlt, but I did today, and I was pleased with what I saw. A collection of cashes and wins, just from last week. I have been slowly modifying my game recently to compensate for my bad plays...I don't believe in bad beats, persay...if it happens, maybe the hand should have been played differently.
Anyways, to my surprise, this is what I found...guess my changes are paying off afterall..no HUGE wins, but I went deep into 2 huge tournies. I have been working on 2 main things...consistency...and I think I did that in my 2 MTT's, and HU, as I was soooo bad at that, not to long ago. Anyways, none of this accounts for my losses, or the $1/$2 STUD table I played on Saturday, but I did walk away from that with $20 in profit..I believe.
Just thougth I would share..if you think you are having a bad run...take the time to
analyze your own game, and not that of others, and see what you can tweak to make it better.
