Before I do this I ask that this entry not be in the contest. I do this because I want to on my own free will.
What is love?
To me love is the respect, caring, affection, and compassion between others. It's about wanting to do anything possible to help that special someone you care about when they are down, and need somebody to pick them back up and put the pieces back together. It's about putting them before you, and showing them that you are willing to make sacrifices just to be with them. It's about going through the good and bad times together. It's about never having to say you are sorry, but you do it anyway because you want to. It's about doing anything possible to take away any pain they may feel. It's about you completing them and vice versa. It's about always showing them you love them on a daily basis, not because you have to, but rather you want to. It's about making them feel like they are the most special person in the world. It's about your heart speeding up and slowing down when you feel their touch or hear their voice. Most importantly, it's knowing that your love one will do anything or feel everything I mentioned above.
I owe my gf for showing me what love truly is. Words cant begin to describe my love for her. I would give up anything/everything i could just to be with her for all eternity. She is the love of my life and my soulmate. Because of this I give her my heart, because I know she will never break it and only cherish it and make it stronger. In closing, show that special loved one you love them everyday like it's their last, I know I sure do everyday. I love you honey, today, tomorrow, and until the end of time.

Oh hun I love this I hope it does win because this is the true meaning of love and it shows the world, just by how you worded it, there is truth and surely love put into what you said, and I hope you let your gf read this so she knows how much you are in love with her.

so... i dont think ive ever been inlove yet.... (im just 17, i can wait) ut there was this one girl who i cared for and liked morethan anyother girl ive been with since b4 that and even after... and what i loved about her is that it didnt matter if i was sad or depressed or stressed or any negative feeling... just knowing that she was there made it all go away, our relationship didnt last long cuz i got with her a few days after breaking up with my ex and so i still had feelings 4 my ex and so i ended up breaking up with this girl but till this day i regret it cuz ive never felt qwhat i felt for her ever. I dont think my mistake was leaving her, i think the mistake was rushing into a relationship... ouch it hurt.... alot.
