problems w/new scrnshots need assistance

For some reason i cannot take anymore new screenshots. When i take one and go to Paint , click edit to paste and save the drop down window paste and save options are not enabled. this started a week or so ago. I am really missing this feature as i had a strt flush last night and was so mad i couldnt capture it. Any one have any solution to get me back up and running? I can retrieve any shot i've taken in the past i just cant paste any new ones. Any help or direction to where i can get help would be greatly appreciated. ty
