Congratulations to Sweets aka Sun!! Winning back-to-back is an impressive accomplishment - Way To Go! - and to win today's tournament, when a great showing by the Herd was truly needed, is remarkable. A fine job by all, with applause to Cheeky Donkey for an excellent 2nd-place, and a special "You Da Man!" label placed upon GlennFish, whose 3rd-place finish captured the overall "points-leader" title - Sweets and Glenn are DonkeyNation's MVPs for this season.

Glenn was no "DonkFish," but a player who consistently made Final Tables and - like Sweets - played fantastic poker to win two tournaments in-a-row. I, however, was a true "AssTrout," and thank all of DonkeyNation for pulling through on this last week to get the Herd into the Play-Offs.

Tournaments with DonkeyNation are fun for many reasons, but one point is that you'll never know exactly how the "chat" will be or the direction it will take - this tournament touched many subjects, but the existence of a true, real "Donkey Fish" was raised by Bluesboy47 during his railing of Silent knight (yes, a member of our clan was cheering on the sole-remaining member of another; we acknowledge and applaud excellence - Pammy played brilliantly, a very patient cat with 9-lives, and was a joy to watch - thanks for a great battle).

... And Blues, as usual, was right - the poker world did not "invent" the Donkey Fish, although it may seem to be breeding a totally different species of the same name. We, however, are just burros - members of DonkeyNation who attempt to avoid being targeted as "fish" - may the good play of the Herd (as a whole) continue. Last nights game was very interesting and funny, it is sad that the Knights had so few in the game but a special mention must be made to SilentKnight for her herculean effort on the final table, well done Pammy!!
