    FTOPS $10 Satellite Victory!

    I just won a $10 double shootout satellite to FTOPS event 10! I am so excited right now that after about 2 years I finally get a chance once again to play in a FTOPS event. I seemed to have no trouble whatsoever getting this seat. In the first round, I was able to gain a big chip lead early. Although when it got down to four handed things got dicey for me I was able to rebound and get heads-up with a slight deficit. The hand that really did it is when I had Railbirds card: AhRailbirds card: 7h in the BB and the button pushed to put me all-in. I only had a little over 5k left and the blinds were getting higher and higher so I took the chance and called only to see my opponent table A-8 off. I turned a flush draw but the river was a 7 and I doubled up and crippled my opponent. He was eliminated the next hand and I was off to the final table of 7.

    When I got to the final table, it was just a dream as I rarely lost a pot, I accounted for almost all of the elminations and I never lost the chip lead. On the last hand I decided to take a chance against my opponent post flop. I picked up 74 in the BB and checked when the button limped. The flop was 3 4 5 and I led for 4k, a pot sized bet, he raised all-in and I took a chance with my pair and straight draw. He slowed played Jacks but a 6 on the turn pretty much sealed the deal and I was the winner!

    This way I would still have $74 in tournament dollars left and in this tournament there are $40 KOs so one KO would be enough to make my happy.
