DKdeuces22 Aug 8, 2008 5:20 pm

screw brett favre, im so sick of hearing about him. The jets will be average team as usual.

sohail Aug 8, 2008 5:36 pm
Go J-E-T-S, he'll be a better fit with them than Tampa or even green bay. Now that does not mean they will win the super bowl. In my view he should have retired, but also the GM in Green bay is an A-hole for not accomodating a legend.
vagsin Aug 8, 2008 5:39 pm
im sick of all this brett favre stuff. but he needs to leave the jets and go with the falcons. first and last season baby woooooooooooooot
USA_Donkey Aug 8, 2008 5:48 pm
Farve will get to see what kind of joke the jets are. hahahaha.

Go GIANTS

First off, his name is spelled F A V R E.....lol

2nd, Favre won't do much of anything for the Jets. They're a weak team that doesn't have the offensive line to protect Favre and let him do what he does best. Bret Favre is one of the all time best QB's in the history of the game, but sad to say, his days are over. He fked up by going to a 4-12 team.

When I heard about the trade in the bar. My buddy turn to me and said,"Farve traded to the Jets? That almost un-American...." I think he was right. But, I do think Tampa Bay would be a better fit or even Alanta.

Go Brett !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO TEXANS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He are the reasons why the Brett does not do well this year with the Jets:

Favre is learning a new offense(new signals, terminology, audibles and system) after 16 years in the same style offense.

Not many athletes get better when they turn 39 years of age (October)

Can Mangini keep Favre in check: Will we see the Favre who was kept in check with McCarthy making Favre accountable in the offense, or do we see the gunslinger who threw 29 INT's in a season?

I wish Brett nothing but the best, but do not be surprised when the Jets are 2-4 and the media starts to crucify Favre. Brett never had to face the media blitz being in Green Bay when we were not so good, compared to what will happen if the Jets get off to a slow start. Green Bay respected Favre's privacy, that is not going to happen in NYC and the NYC media.

well we all know that the 49ers are going to win it all this year...

Brett Favre is "A Legend". An avid Packer Fan...until they had no loyalty to their team mates. Whether or not he retired, they owed him the respect of 16 years with the team...and bringing them to where they stand today. Shame on the Packer Management....The Jets are lucky to get him and I hope he has a fantastic season and is welcomed no matter where he goes...May the God's protect him in all that he does!

topcat1954 Aug 8, 2008 8:14 pm

He should have stayed retired, his legacy will be crap now, espically if he plays this season for a losing team, with little hope of improvement !

.....Tc.....

Farve is going in the Hall as soon as he stops playing. He will make the Jets interesting this year but i am a Pats diehard fan.It will be fun to watch but he needs some players.

My friends here in Wisconsin who are avid cheese heads (me? football? bleh) are disgusted with Green Bay's decision. Most think that it will come back and bite them in the azz.
FuzzyWuz Aug 9, 2008 12:30 am
I agree with water nymph
whizkid Aug 9, 2008 12:35 am
The Jets are a below average team and have been for quite some time. They think ol Brett will change that!?! PLEEEEEASE!
whizkid Aug 9, 2008 12:37 am
