Being a railbird

To me being a railbird has not only changed the way i play poker but it has changed my outlook on life.

I used to just play poker for something to do to pass the time when the the hubby is at work and jordan is in school.....now i play a totally different game.

This time last year i had just moved from the play money tables to cash tournys and sit n gos, my bankroll would disappear in a matter of days. Railbirds has tought me bankroll management and ways to deal with frustration in trnys when you are short stacked. When i feel the frustration coming or i feel i am losing my path in the game all i have to do is shout and so many people come to back me up and keep me on the right path.

And how does railbirds change my outlook on life....this might sound really silly but here goes

Railbirds is a wonderful community of friends as well as players. On railbirds i have met some very special people each with their own meaning to me which i never thought would happen. Some of these people have given me more confidence in myself as a person and in my poker game, i used to be a person who doubted personal achievement and now i am proud of myself and of my friends.

I have learnt and understand so much more than last year and i owe my progress to my fellow railbirds......without you guys who knows where i would be now or what other lousy forum i would have joined lol

i still have much more to learn and im sure that being here at railbirds will lead me in the right direction as it has done so far.
