#1 Why did you chose your Railbird.com screen name/ what does it mean?
I love baseball and my name is Tim. So my name on all the site is Baseball Tim or some from of that.

#2 How many hours each day/week spent playing poker on?
I could spent anywhere from 0 to 24 hours a day. On average probably about 5 to 6 hours a day. About 25-30 hours a week.

#3 How would you define your style of play?
As a default I’m a tight aggressive player, but I adjust my style to how the table is playing. If a table will let me run them over, I will but if I’m going to get 3-bet every time I will tighten up and play a more tight game. So basically my style of play is one that adjusts to the table.

#4 Poker Achievements?
I’ve one a few tournaments. I was 1st for the month of July 2007 on Railbirds and been in the top 100 a bunch of times for the month and also top 100 for the year for Freerolls and Real Money on Railbirds. I was also in the top 100 in the recent MSOP on FullTilt leader board.

#5 How did you get involved with poker? Where did you pick it up?
I basically watched the WSOP where Robert Varkonyi won then watched the Moneymaker WSOP and started to play play chips on PokerRoom.

#6 Which pro would you like to face in a HU match and why?
Jon “PearlJammer” Turner. The guy is like my idol. I watched him play online back when I first started to play online and loved his style of play. I basically railed a lot of tournaments he played and basically transformed my game similar to his style of play. So it would be cool to play my idol!

#7 how have you improved your game?
Like my pervious answer, I watched many top tournaments on FullTilt and Stars like the 1k tournaments and 100 rebuys. Also I read many poker forums that have in depth poker discussing like Pocket 5’s and 2+2. And I’ve subscribed to sites like PokerXfactor and Cardrunners.

#8 Do you have any nick names on the felt?
No nicknames but you can give me one when I’m done taking your money.

#9 What goals do you have as a poker player in the next 6 month's?
I would like to increase my bankroll like everyone. I would like to qualify for some FTOPS and WCOOP events. Obviously win those for 100k+, rinse and repeat!

#10 What would you consider a weakness in your game/ something you need to improve?
I play too many pots out of position, but mostly I bluff at too many pots out of position. I think I need to play more pots in postion than I do now.

#12 What are some typical "TELLS" that a online player is bluffing?
I don’t really think there are many tells online. You just really have to recognize betting patterns of your opponents. There are some timing tells but you can’t rely on those because of multi-tabling issues, etc. A bet from one player may be the nuts where from another it’s a bluff. Each player has player specific tells in there betting patterns and there are not really things that are the same for every player across the board. Online especially notes are important to keep track of “tells” you pick up in players. (Advice from $10-$50 mtts and $1r,$3r,$5r, and $10r).

#13 How Has Railbirds.com helped your game play?
It’s helped me play against different types of players and also given me more experience in general just playing poker.

#14 Best Moment in a trny?
Probably winning a tournament. I just like the thrills that come along with tournaments. But I don’t have to many highs and lows in trnys. I’m pretty even keeled.

#15 Most recent trny win?
I’ve had a few small wins. But I won like $480 for 11th in the MSOP. I shipped 14 big blinds with QQ, guy insta-called with AJ. Q on flop yay! Runner runner dagger to the heart for his straight. I would have been 2nd in chips with 11 left. $10k for 1st! Sigh!
