He raised 3x the BB pre flop, and made a pot sized bet on the flop, what makes you think he wouldn't call an all in raise here ? He has top pair, 3rd kicker, and twice as many chips as anyone at the table. You actually wanted a call here, you were ahead, it is just the luck went his way in the end, you are right, sometimes there is nothing you can do.

He did that to me same game.... I had KK he had QQ and caught his 3rd Q on an all in hand. A couple hands before that caught an 8 while holding 88 to take out someone with QQ on the river.

I can see it happening once in awhile but the last 5 games I played while at his table it seemed to go about the same....major suck out and just really really lucky.

I could really use some of that luck!

Was just really frustrated after todays game....had to walk away from computer....cause like I said last 5 games I played him at a table he sucked out and won. Just not looking forward to seeing him at any table until I get over myself on this one.

Golan. I can't tell you how many times someone came over the top on me when I had top cards and I folded. Only to have villian turn over 2nd best hand. So, if I have the chips, I'm perfectly willing to pay to see my demise. In this case, I lucked out and I apologized. I have been getting suckouts all day long and even told that to everyone who was playing. That's the way it goes and it's going my way today. Tomorrow will be a different story.

I ran into some computer problems at the final table and lost a lot of chips that I couldn't recover from. Oh well.....next time.
