I was watching a video by *****.com at the World series of poker. They was interviewing Amarillo Slim Preston and I thought, "Wow, this guy is fasinating!" Here's some interesting facts about Amarillo that you may or may not know.
- He was born in Johnson, Arkansas in 1928.
- He's played poker with the likes of President Richard Nixon and Larry Flynt.
- He once beat bobby Reese, professional tennis player, at ping-pong with a Frying pan.
- He made a bet that he could make a cat pick up a coke bottle and put it on top of a building.
- He once beat Evil Kenieval at golf with a bow and arrow.
- He once made a bet that he could hit a golf ball a mile. (he hit it on a frozen lake where there was no friction.)
He recently came out with an autobiography and is making a movie about his life with Nicholas Cage. Hope you all enjoyed this and found as interesting as I did.
