The second season of the Poker Trivia Tour is now over. Thanks to everyone who participated in the PTT this season!

Season Two Schedule

July 23rd: $1+.50 PL Hold 'em
July 30th: $1+.50 Seven Card Stud
August 6th: $1+.50 PL Omaha
August 13th: $1+.50 Razz
August 20th: $1+1 NL Hold 'em w/ Rebuys
August 27th: $1+.50 H.O.S.E.
September 3rd: $1+.50 PL ½ Hold 'em ½ Omaha
September 10th: $1+.50 Seven Card Stud H/L
September 17th: $1+.50 PL Omaha H/L
September 24th: PTT HORSE Championship ($7+3 SS H.O.R.S.E.)
October 1st: PTT Main Event ($2.50+1 DS NL Hold 'em KO)
October 8th: PTT Tournament of Champions ($1+.50 NLHE Heads-up Shootout)

As always, each preliminary winner will receive the PTT winners trophy.

And for the first time the PTT crowned a Mixed Games Champion. Djgeter was the winner and was presented with this special trophy.

Season Pass

The winner of each of the nine preliminary events will receive a pass for the rest of season two. That means that if you win a prelim. then you will receive passwords for the rest of the PTT tournaments that season in your inbox.

If you win the PTT Mixed Games Championship, the Main Event or the Tournament of Champions (if you qualify) then you will receive the season pass for the entire third season.

A season pass for the third season will also be awarded to the winner of the Player of the Season award.

Updated Player of the Season Points System

This season, the player of the season points system has been modified and points that will be awarded vary from each tournament based on a percentage system based on the number of entries in each tournament. Each tournament will have a guaranteed pool of 100 points with 10 more points added to the pool for each entry and 20 points for both the HORSE Championship and the Main Event. Below is a chart of how the points will be distributed.

If The Tournament Has 2-9 Entries

1st: 50%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 20%

If The Tournament Has 10-27 Entries

1st: 45%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%

If The Tournament Has 28-45 Entries

1st: 37%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
5th: 7½%
6th: 5½%

If The Tournament has Over 45 Entries

1st: 30%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
5th: 7½%
6th: 5½%
7th: 4½%
8th: 4%
9th: 3½%

***No points will be awarded for the Tournament of Champions.***

All point totals will be rounded up to the nearest tenth. So for example if you finish 6th in a tournament that had 35 entries, the 30.25 points you earned would be rounded up to 30.3 points.

The person with the most points at the end of the season will be named the season two Player of the Season and will receive this cerificate.

CJ28000 earned the most points throughout the second season and because of that CJ was named season two Player of the Season. Congratulations!
