how do you tame the lion

Jul 16, 2008 3:17 am Report Abuse

howdy I am new here so bear with me. Naturally agressive lots of poker comes somewhat easy for me ,if any of it can be called easy. I can play weak or medium or good drwaing hands well. Strong hands that are losers are something I find nearly impossible to get away from. Having no fear is a good thing , but when it stems from apparent stupidity not so good lol. I have to admit this occurs whenever I think I have the best hand regardless of any persuasion to the contrary I.e big bets the other way.

well it seems to know you already know the problem - you just need to lose the ego. You would be my favourite type of player to be against because with paitence you can trap and they will pay you off. Temper the aggression a little and you willbe hard to beat

Take the ego out of the equation , it takes very good player to be able to lay it down when he knows he's beat , when I see someone who won't lay down I set them up for a very nice pot , so fix what you already know is a big chip leak in your game and your results will improve , GL
