Proof that poker isn't fair

What sucks is that I put him on possibly having Aces and I still chose to call him down. Must be something wrong with my wiring.

Not sure why I didn't put him on the flush... oh yeah, I remember, the preflop raise said pocket pair and the delayed action when the 3rd suited card came out just didn't seem like he had it.

Then two hands later he got the rest of my chips.

Must not be my quarter (quarters run 3 months as a general rule) for cards cause I have been out lucked far more then I have been out played. I would infact prefer to be out played than out lucked to be honest, but that is just mean.

that 2nd hand was sick but the 1st hand u cant get mad cuz he had u from the start and usually on full tilt when u get a pocket pair sum1 else always has one 2

and the first hand there was a 3 to a straight and 4 to a flush on board so its not like ur kings were that powerfull on that board

I have a few questions about the second hand. What was your reason for doing a min raise after the flop? How had that player played after making a minimum bet on the flop when he was re-raised significantly?

The problem with the second hand appears to me that you were too successful in deceiving your opponent. He apparently thought his pair of Kings was the best hand.

For now I am playing my big pocket pairs in a straightforward way. I want them to know I have a big pocket pair and that they will have to pay dearly to draw against it. I would rather win a smaller pot then trap myself for a big loss.

I think I was simply trying to build the pot at that point so I could push harder on the turn and remove his odds for chasing a flush, or I was checking for a set expecting him to re-raise if he had a really strong hand, or I may have mis clicked the bet before I slid the slider for a bigger bet. At this point I not sure but I think I was going with attempting to raise the pot while I was ahead.
