I truelly hate KK

5x the big isn't enough to push some people off of marginal hands when they are out of possition. But in this instance I will blame the poker gods for allowing him to connect with his 3 high flush.

I see it every night (just like the rest of you guys), people being too loose with their chip stacks. Risking too much without a made hand. I know two things about that kind of play. First 80% of the time the guy that drew out on me doesn't make it deep into the money if they make the money at all. Second if I make an attempt to play that way all my draws miss.

Before you say it was an insignificant amount in comparison to his stack to make the call, think about how many times you can lose that call before you no longer have a stack.

Before you say he had a single pair with the flush redraw, buttom pair shouldn't be something you count on holding up in a showdown, in reality he was playing the draw.

Tincan, I hope you are part of the 20% that does reasonably well after taking my chips, good luck.

He had the following outs: any 2 or 3 or heart they win. Thats 15 outs, which means there is little in it - its a coin flip. Folding by him would have been stupid.

Even pre flop he still had the odds once the other player call

to be precise you were 50.2%, he was 49.8%......nothing in it

Sry dude, but he DID have a bunch of outs. I'd of called too with 2 more cards to go. Better luck next time.

PS: You DO see a lot of stupid play out there though.

Everyone seems to comment how the final call was right in most blogs, which I can accept to a point (only to a point because a 3 high flush is such a very very strong flush). How can the first call be right to even choose to play such low cards from out of possition?

Congratulations to Tincan for doing very well in the tournament, btw. I watched his stack dip drangerously low several times and once the break came and went, his game appeared to greatly improve. He migt be of the school that you risk a lot early and grind later because it appeared he changed gears and started playing tighter and building a desent stack rather than risking his stack.

He was only getting 2 to 1 on his money preflop. I'm not sure why he made the call preflop unless he was hoping that an AK would whiff.

roughly 51% using the 3x+9 method for him to hit on turn or river.
760/(1125+760) = .40ish

Sucks that he called preflop.

Level II of a freeroll - explains most of it, imo.
